Things Are Happening... But Painting Isn't One of Them
... because it's way harder to paint in THIS than I expected:
Carpal tunnel release surgery completed! And I was awake! And I got to look inside my own hand!
But this cast is stupidly bulky and it kills to "pinch," like I'd need to do to hold a paintbrush. SO--forced two-week hiatus :(
Which makes it a great time to get a puppy, right?!? A week from tomorrow, we bring home our newest little girl--a 9-week old English Bulldog, name still to be determined. I know. Puppy = newborn levels of commitment. It's a long story, but we're very excited and she is crazy cute, and hopefully that's enough to make me OK with all the chewing and peeing and pooping and and and...
